About
Do-No Trash is a collective of citizens and organisations committed to adopting sustainable living practises and promoting a healthy plastic-free life. The movement, which started from Dehradun, is now spreading to other parts of India.
We are a volunteer-run community open to anybody who is concerned about the environment and is in a quest to to live a sustainable life. Our core team consists of scientists, designers and communicators, who work full time to research and produce content that is suitable and useful to address shifts towards sustainable lifestyles among different segments of society.
We hope to inform and inspire people to adopt sustainable approaches in their own lives by acting responsibly towards the environment and also by creating greater awareness about local issues related to garbage disposal, plastic usage and trash burning through our community engagement programmes.

Dr SOUMYA PRASAD
An ecologist, by profession Soumya saw first hand the terrible impacts of plastic ingestion by animals. This made her take action and start Do-No Trash.
RIDDHIMA KARWA
A development professional with a keen interest in behaviour change communication, Riddhima handles the social media for Do-No Trash
AYUSH JOSHI
An environmental engineer, an activist, a nature worshipper. Ayush is the go to person for all things related to environment tech and policy.
ARIF HUSSAIN
A designer and a seeker, Arif loves pushing his boundaries, absorb knowledge across domains and explore new places, tools and techniques to broaden his creative capabilities and expression.
NAINA JAIN
Naina is a designer by profession and nature lover at heart. Her creative energies drive the design team of Do-No Trash.
SWATI NEGI
Swati is an earth architect and a design consultant for Do-No Trash. She brings expertise in mud and bamboo architecture as well as rain water harvesting.

A strong believer in taking actions when it comes to saving the environment. Mr Nitin Shah is one of our most proactive members when it comes to community composting.

A proactive citizen, Pushpaji is a role model of sustainable living. She is an expert at kitchen waste management and is constantly on the lookout for community solutions

An educationist by profession, a nature lover and activist at heart, Rohini is the voice of
Do-No Trash.
She can inspire any audience with her fiery talks and charismatic speeches.
MAMTA KANDARI
Mamta Kandari is a post graduate from Azim Premji University and a development professional. She is a sustainable menstruation educator, passionate about making sustainable menstruation mainstream.
